Hola, thank you for visiting!

I'm Vanessa, an American raised with my beautiful Mexican culture and heritage, while speaking Spanglish in a small town. I now reside in Los Angeles, CA. I'm the author, creator, and photographer behind Life Of Torres. I am also wife to a kind-hearted man usually found in a sports jersey, and mami to a curious and empathetic 2-year-old girl. I find joy in being a light source and empowering others to do the same.

With a background in business, my love is in the creative space, reading for leisure & personal growth is my favorite, online shopping is my jam, playing with our family dogs is always fun, and finding the small and simple joys of motherhood is priceless!

$February 16th already! Can you believe it? Did you start the year with implementing new lifestyle habits? How’s your progress? ⏰ I’m sure you’ve heard that it takes 21 days to form a habit, but recently researchers have found that it takes 66 days to actually create a habit you will not have resistance against or give a second-thought to! 👋🏽 That means you still have to consciously be consistent for the next 19 days, give or take! ☎️ Ring, ring, hello! If you’re noticing that you’re starting to slack off, this is your wake-up call to not give up on YOU! Life changes in months, days, heck! It can change in a split second!
